Biography

Yui was preparing to be born as she listened to Classic music in her mother. Her mother was a good singer but father was only a listener.

When Yui was 4 years old, she started to learn playing piano, and liked singing therefore she sang alone in a loud voice at vacant land while having time.

When she became a junior high school student,
When she got into a girls' high school, joined Dance gymnastic club. However the club was insufficient for her interest also she wanted to sing. So she quit the club then joined Dance and Voice training school at the second grade.
In those days, she started to write words to exist song as her feel. It was like a parody.

The dance was fun but couldn't get friendly with the team. Therefore she decided to concentrate on songs then started voice training in earnest at Sheer music arts vocal school when she was 3rd grade of high school.Also she started piano playing again to learn basis of codes.

When in the first grade of university, applied Sheer music arts school audition. Won the most excellent artist.
Then became a pupil of Mr. Kenji Tateishi, ex. Kenji Noa, a producer, and started writing words and songs in earnest. Yui wrote songs passionately as if dam burst.

January, 2005
Released the 1st single CD "Clover". The 1st live performance took place at BOXX in Shibuya with an audience of more than a hundred.

March, 2005
Started live performance in Tokyo and suburbs. Hold 20 live house performance in a year.

January, 2006　
Started Street live performance in the suburbs of Tokyo.

January, 2007
Released the 2nd single CD "Feather".

April, 2007
Sold 2,000 of the 2nd single CD "Feather" in 3 months.

June, 2007　
Released the 3rd single CD "Kokoro wo koete".

September, 2007　
Sold 3,000 of the 3rd single CD "Kokoro wo koete" in 3 months.

November, 2007　
Released the 4th single CD "Hoshi ni negai wo.... Anata wa sora wo miagete imasuka?".
Started Nationwide street live performance in 47 prefectures of Japan to sell 7,000 CDs in 6 months from the release day.

June, 2008
Sold 6,000 of the 4th single "Hoshi ni negai wo ...Anata wa sora wo miagete imasuka?" in 6 months.

June, 2008
Released the 5th single CD "Dakara koko de utatte iru / Ienakatta kimochi".
Started the 2nd Nationwide street live performance in 47 prefectures of Japan to sell 7,000 CDs in 6 months.
The song was used in drama of "Caramelbox", theatrical company as tie-up.

September, 2008
Released the 6th single CD "White wing~ theme song of Kanuchi shiroki tsubasa no sho".
Tied-up with PS2 "Kanuchi shiroki tsubasa no sho" as opening and ending song..
Won the 1st prize of Tower records' reservation chart.

April, 2009
Released the 7th single CD "Eien no sora~ Kanuchi kuroki tsubasa no sho".
Tied-up with PS2 "Kanuchi kuroki tsubasa no sho" as opening and ending song.

Released the 1st album "Kono sora no shita de". Achieved 47 prefectures street live performance.

Released the 8th single CD "Tokyo".

Made a guest appearance of "Yokohama high school music festival" at Yokohama arena.

Prologue

The last challenge bet her musician life was over after 11:59p.m. on May 20th, 2011.
The challenge is to get 15,000 of "Supporter's family" within a year from May 20th, 2010.

Result was 13,902. It could not reach 15,000 even though speeding up at the last.
The difference 1,908 looks very close but too far.

May 22nd, two days later, her One man live in Shibuya DESEO live house proceeded like closing her musician life.
Singing with tears, talking about dramatic 6 years musician's life, revealing her feeling.
It was too shocking reveal to encore.

She failed in the last challenge honestly.
The challenge was the last hope that she found out a year ago finally, the last bet with less her fans.
The fail should be quite different from what she had thought.

Yui, you have strong and many fans with you now. Remember it.
